Greenfield Community Development Corporation

The Greenfield Community Development Corporation works to recruit business and industry to the area by providing resources and connections to prospective and existing enterprises.

Business retention and expansion are also a part of the picture. Creating jobs and increasing the area’s tax base are crucial to strengthening Greenfield’s economic vitality and building a strong base for future development. The group provides referrals to community resources that can provide financial and development assistance, as well as working closely with Greenfield Municipal Utilities, the City of Greenfield, and Adair County to meet infrastructure needs, and partnering with other development models focused on enhancing the area’s tourism potential and quality of life.

The Greenfield Community Development Corporation is comprised of community-minded leaders of business and industry and operates in partnership with Greenfield Chamber Main Street. The group is also affiliated with Midwest Partnership Economic Development.

An industrial park on the north edge of town serves as the centerpiece for the town’s industrial development. Ten acres of land are currently available.
