Regional Economic Development Corporation to hold Stake Holder Meeting

Midwest Partnership EDC needs the participation of our local economic development organizations, businesses, residents, and city/county officials to talk about your communities at a shareholder meeting with a strategic consulting firm doing research and providing plans for improving our economic positioning. You can find additional information on the project below. The stakeholder meeting will be ***Wednesday, June 24 at the Guthrie Activity Center at 6:00 PM***. We need your attendance at the meeting, as well as help spreading the word! Please pass it along to your communities. Also, as noted in the flyer – if you could RSVP with an approximate number of people that will attend, that would be very helpful!Ady Advantage is a strategic consulting firm that has contracted with Western Iowa Advantage and their 8-county region to do work on targeted industry analysis and regional marketing initiatives. With that, the Ady Advantage team will be meeting with large employers in the region to discuss economic factors (community challenges, workforce, location decisions, business conditions, and industry information, etc.) and trying to understand how to best complement the existing businesses in our region. Also, the team will be gathering shareholders for a meeting to get a better understanding of the region as a whole and get the communities’ firsthand knowledge.
